Round two delivered plenty of excitement at the Reliance Matrix Championship presented by Epson the sixth event of the 2026 Epson Tour season, held at the challenging Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 132-player field was cut to the top 60 and ties, setting the stage for a thrilling weekend as players are in prep mode heading into moving day.

Comfortably sitting atop the leaderboard is Cholcheva Wongras after displaying a record-shattering performance after 36 holes. Once the Epson Tour rookie settled into her round, she began to match the heat of Las Vegas dropping three consecutive birdies on holes three through five. Wongras head up to No. 6 tee and left the green without needing to take her putter out of the bag, holing out for eagle from 99 yards on the 542-yard par-5.

When asked if she saw the ball roll in on the sixth hole, “No, I didn't. So, I took out my putter, and I thought it was close but not in the hole and I when I got up there was no ball, said Wongras.”

The 19-year-old signed for a 6-under, 30 opening nine, and continued playing the round of her life. The Thailand native wasted no time firing on all cylinders dropping five more birdies to round out her bogey-free 11-under, 61.

“It was really amazing, said Wongras. “I think everything went really well today. Not just about my golf game but it's a bit of luck as well so it was really fun out there.”

Wongras not only set her own personal best score this morning, but she also beat the 18-hole tournament record and tied the 18 and 36 hole Epson Tour scoring record at 11-under and 18-under, respectively.

“It was really amazing, expressed Wongras. “I think everything went really well today. Not just about my golf game but it's a bit of luck as well so it was really fun out there.”

Mariel Galdiano fired her second consecutive 65, to place her in solo second heading into moving day. The 27-year-old is bogey-free thus far, after draining seven birdies on the day to sit 4-shots back from Wongras at 14-under par for the tournament.

Two athletes sit two shots behind Galdiano, including Rachel Kuehn and Carla Bernat Escuder.

Kuehn the North Carolina native signed for a picture-perfect scorecard this afternoon draining six birdies. The Wake Forest University alumna is coming off a solo third place finish at the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic. Make sure to check out if Kuehn can take over the lead as she has her older brother on the bag for the remainder of the weekend.

Bernat Escuder had a steady day on the links making five birdies and one bogey, ultimately signing for a 4-under par, 68, slightly sliding on the leaderboard from solo lead to trail by six shots heading into Saturday afternoon.

Epson Tour sophomore Caitlin Peirce and veteran Jillian Hollis both surged from up to the top of the leaderboard with solid under-par performances in the morning wave.

The Australian Peirce, carded a sharp 8-under-par 64, vaulting her into T5 jumping from T23 after sinking eight birdies on the day.

Hollis built momentum early, draining five birdies on the front nine to make the turn at 5-under 31. Her round just got better and better to the finish with an equally impressive closing nine of 5-under, carding a 10-under 62, beating her personal best.

The leaderboard remains packed, with several players at 10-under tied in the top 10, promising a dramatic Saturday moving day for the title, $250,000 purse, and crucial Race to the Card points toward LPGA dreams.
